NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Petitions described below ("Petitions") for the allotment of water
under §37-45-125, C.R.S. 1973, from Yamcolo Reservoir have been filed with the Board of Directors (the "Board") of the Upper Yampa Water Conservancy District (the "District"). Notice is further given that all
persons interested shall appear at the office of the Board at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 located at the MOUNTAIN VALLEY BANK COMMUNITY ROOM, 2220 CURVE PLAZA, STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO and show cause in writing (except as set forth below during the time the District offices are closed as result of the COVID-19 pandemic) why any Petition set forth below should not be granted. At such time and place (or as set forth below during the COVID-19 pandemic), or at such time to which the hearing on said Petition or Petitions may be adjourned, the Board shall proceed to hear the Petitions and objections thereto, presented in writing, by any person showing cause why any Petition should not be granted. The failure of any person interested to show cause shall be deemed an assent on such person's part to the granting of a Petition. At its discretion, the Board may accept or reject any Petition; but, if it deems it for the best interest of the District that any Petition be granted, the Board shall enter an order to that effect granting said Petition, and, from and after such order, the Petitioner or persons interested therein shall be deemed to have purchased, leased, contracted for, or otherwise acquired the beneficial use of water or capacity of works as set forth in said order. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the offices of the District are currently closed and all meetings of the Board of Directors and Committees of the District are being held by video/teleconference or other electronic means. Agendas and other information regarding upcoming meetings of the District and the means of public participation in such meetings, including the meeting on April 8, 2020 at 1:30 PM where the Petitions and objections thereto will be considered, shall be available for review no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting on the District's website: During the period the District offices are closed, any person desiring to show cause why any Petition should not be granted should do so in an e-mail directed to the District's Communications & Marketing Manager, Holly Kirkpatrick at Email Me.
