These vehicles will be at the Routt County Justice Center rear parking lot, 1955 Shield Drive, Steamboat Springs, from October 15th – 19 for viewing until 1:00 p.m. each day. The vehicles are locked so inspection will be from the exterior. On October 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., there will be a Routt County employee on site with the vehicles unlocked for inspection of the interior, the service records, and a key to start the engine but you may not drive the vehicles. Only one bid per person per vehicle per envelope will be accepted. All bids should be in a sealed envelope marked "2020 Surplus Auto Sale" and include the vehicle number. The sealed bids must be submitted in writing to the Routt County Road & Bridge Conference Room, 1st Floor of the County Annex Building, 136 6th Street, Suite 105 Steamboat Springs, no later than 1:00 p.m. October 20th.

The opening of bids will be public and read aloud via a Zoom Meeting at 1:15 p.m. Please see the Routt County website on the Purchasing Bids page for vehicle pictures and Zoom meeting information or contact the Routt County Purchasing Agent, Julie Kennedy, at Email Me or 970-870-5316. We cannot answer any individual vehicle question other than what is listed here and in the service records.

All bids shall be the dollar amount the bidder will expect to pay to Routt County if awarded the bid. Terms are cash or certified funds due when the winning bidder picks up the vehicle. All vehicles are sold "AS IS-WHERE IS" with no warranty expressed or implied. The County will issue a bill of sale for the sale of abandoned/confiscated vehicles. Buyers must apply for title with the State of Colorado, who may issue or refuse title. Title is not guaranteed on any abandoned/confiscated vehicles. Successful bidders MUST take delivery of vehicles by Friday, October 23, 2020.
