TOWN OF HAYDEN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS: Please take notice that the Board of Adjustments (BOA) for the Town of Hayden, a Colorado home rule town, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Hayden Town Hall, 178 West Jefferson Avenue, Town of Hayden, Routt County, Colorado. Purpose: The Board will consider and act on a Variance Request for the subject property at 340 E. Washington Avenue to permit; excessive accessory dwelling units located on the property and excessive accessory dwelling square footage due to permitting two units. The Hayden Development Code Chapter 7.080.010 limits a total of one (1) accessory dwelling unit per property in addition to the main single-family residence and limits accessory dwelling units to a maximum of eight hundred (800) square feet in floor area. The applicant seeks to permit the use of two (2) accessory dwelling units: one being 539 SF the other 410 SF for a total of 949 SF on one single family lot.
